Facing the End of Life - Vicki Burns' Sunday School Class (08.28.2016)

This week's Sunday School lesson was "Facing the End of Life."

Actually coming to terms with the end of one's earthly life is something most people would rather not do until it is absolutely necessary. Nevertheless, it is wise to prepare for death by trusting in Christ as our Savior and Lord; and the sooner we do this the better. If we live with salvation trusting in Christ, when the end of our earthly life comes, we will have life everlasting with Christ.

For the Christian. Christ has defeated death.

John 11:25

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

Vitality of the Senior Years - Vicki Burns Sunday School Class (08.21.2016)

This weeks Sunday School lesson was Vitality of the Senior Years.

Because God is faithful, seniors can lead productive lives that glorify Him.

Psalm 37:23

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fail, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor he seed begging bread.

The Faithful Love of the Lord Never Ends!

An encouraging word from Lana Hoskins!:

As I took this picture I thought to myself how beautiful the ocean was and no matter if I looked to the left, the right or straight ahead it never ended. As soon as that thought crossed my mind God quickly reminded me that his love for his people was just like the picture in front of me. It never ends.
